Luella
22 IBU ~5.7% ABV
April 8, 2015

In the tradition of a Belgian pale ale, Luella finishes dry but offers a perceived candy sweetness with aromas of grape and bread, spice from a late addition of Sterling hops, and a bit of Belgian funkiness to round it out.

Johnny GOlden Ale
27 IBU ~5% ABV
July 9, 2015

Johnny begins with a fermenter filled with apple cider and ale wort.A custom tailored ale blended with apple cider. Lightly hopped with Sterling hops. Johnny is an homage to all of Ground Breaker’s favorite Johnnies: Johnny D., who built the brewery; Johnny Galecki, considered by many of us to be the best Russ Griswold; Johnny Cash, whose soothing baritone often accompanies a brewday; and Johnny 5, star of one of Oregon’s greatest films.

Fresh Hop
30 IBU ~5.8% ABV
September 10, 2015

Our award winning Pale Ale fresh hopped with local Meridian hops.  Full of hop flavor without the bitter finish you get from IPAs. Brewed with 150 pounds of fresh hops.

Squash Ale
40 IBU ~5.8% ABV
October 14, 2015

Ground Breaker’s one-of-a-kind seasonal is “triple-squashed.” Squash is added to the mash tun, boil kettle, and fermenter. Pumpkin seeds are toasted, crushed, and also added to the mash. The ale has a “wet-squash” addition to the fermenter which consists of squash that has been slow roasted for several days into a creamy squash butter. It is then finished with a gentle inclusion of cinnamon, nutmeg, and toasted coriander to complement the squash flavors and aromas.
